SMK BBSP Interact Talent Wars

Hey guys guess what ? One day Julian told us that there was a talent war in SMK Bandar Baru Sri Petaling. On the 13th of March Saturday. So we were all excited to perform as we tot it would be fun... so we worked hard on the songs that we meant to be played for the competition. So we woke up early in the morning and went to WengJian's house as his dad is sending us there. Thx WengJian's dad..

Well we packed up and got the amps and guitars loaded up and off we went. Tooks us i guess 10 mins to reach ? cause it wasnt really far.. When we first reached we werent sure whether we were at the right place. so went went in the hall as asked around. and lucky we were in the right place. so we unloaded and placed our stuff at the side of the stage.. while we walked in.. everyone looked at us. like we were some kind of outcast. well went and meet the IU director. Greet him and then we went and sign up.. after that we had a sound check. when we played.. everyone started at us and i could see their eyes open wider. it was like they never see a bunch of people playing. it was awesome la cause we knew that they liked it ? so after that we went and sat down. and then i saw this girl and a man came in with an acoustic guitar. i tot they were participants but end up they were the JUDGES!!! My Bad! lol

Well after that we heard the other band play. they were good but their songs were in chinese and slow.. so Dc was kinda worried that we were playing songs that were too fast ? well that doesnt matter.. after that the IU director told us to get our numbering. and guess what ? i told rick not to get number 1 and speak of the devil. the number we got was 1 !! We were all stunned.. and pressured. really pressured. haha. so luckily we got out act organized and maintained our cools-ness haha. well Shuen and Michelle came to support us. they were so kind to actually help the band get breakfast at Mc'Donals. Aww thankyou both =)

Well after eating, the IU director told us its time to go up stage and perform. we were scared but yeah. manned up and went up the stage. owh yeah guess what ? they called us the Taman Desa Band = =.. damn. haha well we played our song.. but sadly we were like stone playing. no one moved. the performance was very dull. solo was off timing. and other stuff.. we didnt do good at all.. after getting off the stage. we tot we'd never get to the finals. well we lost hope. seeing others perform we tot we had no hope to even reach finals.

Some of the performance we awesome and some were ok and some were just...... *no comments* but yeah i give them a 10/10 for having the guts for going up the stage. Well there were 15 performances. After that i got bored and hungry. Rick, Shuen, Michelle and Me when and buy some bread at a near by bakery. after coming back. suddenly. the IU director told us that were in the top 5? means were going to the finals ? WE'RE GOING TO THE FINALS!!! lol.. kinda happy

So again, we were again the first to go up stage. and this time.. we went up and played ricks song. We played out hearts out and show what we got for the judges. this time we moved around. i saw the crowd actually headbang and they judge's smiled at rick. cause maybe they like his singing. well that was all a good sign. well then when we went of stage. everyone was looking at us again. this time the band was much happy of what we did. so after that we watch the others perform. after that the judges went and calaculate the scores. mean while we packed our stuff

It was time for the price giving... we were all called up the stage. even the other performers. so we joined the top 5 on stage. then the Emcee announced the third place which was one girl singer. then second place was the SMK BBSP band, at that time we tot... omg were not going to win cause there was one act that was much better than us. *thats what we tought* but then suddenly. the emcee said.. the first place goes to ???............... Taman Desa!!! We screamed and took our trophy. we were shocked that we were first place... so yeah we took pictures and mingled with the other contestants and talk talk talk talk talk.

Well im freaking tired of writing now... cause its 3.40 am now. so will add the pictures as soon as i get the pictures and the time.. lol =) well thats all for now... take care people. good morning... and Congratz to Julian , Adam, Rick, Weng Jian, =) You all did awesome =)

Hey guys... Well were back from Catholic's Prom held at Sunway Resort Hotel.. We had a great time performing for them... Rocked the stage... It was really an awesome and wild crowd... We met alot of new friends... Well its another step for DC|... Well mainly we just wanna thank the Catholic's Prom committee for inviting us to perform... Owh well thats all we have to say for now... Hope to perform for Catholic High Again... Peace
